WHAT TO EXPECT

* Sessions take place during day only for natural light *

​

- You'll arrive at our home-studio location in Annapolis -- Keep an eye out for our gray house

- Park along street or in driveway if there's space

- Please SMOKE before arriving. I do not allow smoking on property.

- Ideally, youre arriving 15 minutes early to settle in. If youre running late, this cuts into your session time.

- Come through our screened porch to our front door.

- You'll be greeted by Chanel or the stylist for the session.

- We'll head straight into the boudoir studio.

- Introductions will take place

- All belongings can be placed into the room

- Makeup will immediately begin; if included or selected.

- Youre welcome to sit in your robe/towel or borrow one of our silk robes

- All belongings and cell phones need to remain in room to ensure theyre not in background nor near water.

- Our stylist will stay to check makeup through session

- Chanel will begin cutting and placing flowers around outside of tub. Unless you chose a styled session; in which some of the tub will already be prepped.

- Bath water will be running lukewarm/warm - if a baby/toddler is involved; water temp will be more lukewarm to avoid burns or startling. 

- Milk Solution Will be added or selected color drops/bomb

- You will step in bath wearing your suit, bra set, outfit, dress or one of our rented dresses

- If having fabric wrapped, we'll have you get in first. Then we will wrap.

- Flower arrangements will be placed into tub once youve stepped inside

- Soothing Music will be playing - if you so choose.

-Once session is over; you can towel off, get dressed + gather your stuff

- We'll go over some final info and walk you to the door!

NURSING SESSIONS

​

- Be sure to pack food/toys/change of clothes

- Consider of baby will be fully naked or in wrap/clothes

- Babies/Toddlers tend to splash, kick, play - florals will move, water wont be smooth - take note. Dont fret!

- Some kids will find they love the water and calm nicely; providing a smooth session

- Enjoy the moment and if tears start for your little one[s]; we can take a break and offer other options. 

- Once its noticeable your little one is all done ; I'll end the session and/or youre welcome to end it too!

- I work fast - and aim to capture many angles by the time we are done.

WHAT TO WEAR 

- Rent a dress [consider pasties or a bra to wear]

- Wear a bra and panty set

- Wear a swimsuit

- Wear something mesh or lacy

- Go topless

- Go Naked

​

Keep in mind the colors of florals or water drops you choose. Consider if you want a contrast or an overall theme. For example; if you are going to a soft pastel look - you wont want to wear a black garment. Or, if youre going for a modern and bold look; you wouldnt want to wear white with soft colored flowers. We can help you style!
